I am going to try to show a little about what a Saturday night in Tamarindo is like. This may take several installments.First, like always, Gail and I walked down to the beach to watch the sunset. After that we headed for a restaurant called Witches Rock which is located at the northern end of the town. It was sill pretty light out so the walk wasn't bad--you did have to be a little careful of the sidewalks. (These deep gutters are along the main roads to handle the water during the rainy season.)
Witches Rock is right on the beach. It is a good place for surfers to hang out, and has live music most every Saturday night.
Notice the sign at the lower right of the picture--
A half order is big enough for three people. |
Once again the saxophone player was exceptional. He plays every night of the week (except Sunday, of course) with different groups around town. Even the younger fans enjoyed it.
This little gal has her doll, back pack and beach umbrella. The little guy has his boogie board.) |
After the music we headed home and I took a lot of pictures of things that were happening along the way that I will get organized and then share.
