Day One

We arrived at our condo complex and were greeted by the resident property manager. She let us in since there is a locked security gate.  The front of the complex is quite lovely--

After we unpacked we decided to walk down to the beach and watch the sunset.  (Tamarindo is one of the top ten places in the WORLD for beautiful sunsets.)  We found the restaurant where we had eaten on the first night when we were here the last time.  We came in the beach entrance instead of coming in from the street and having a waiter seat us.  I think that was a mistake because we could not get anyone to wait on us--or even acknowledge we were there.  So, I went to the bar, got us a beer and we sat at our table and watched the sunset. 

It was rather plain but is was still beautiful--and warm. 

After that we walked down the beach and got something to eat--shrimp ceviche and  quesadillas.  This was a restaurant called Witches Rock that is on the beach and has music--live music on Saturdays and maybe a few other times.

On our way home we stopped and got a few groceries for breakfast.
