We took a
short walk on the beach today—we are just getting in walking condition slowly
and it was very windy. It was low tide
and we walked to the south end of the beach.
The rocks are visible when the tide is out.
When walking
the beach the sand is very soft but still firm so that it is easy walking. The rocks are only at the south end of the
beach and you kind of weave your way through them and still stay on sand most
of the time. At high tide you just hug
the shoreline.
Gail decided to pose on a couple of the trees along the shore.
On the way home we stopped at this place on the beach where you can buy fresh fish.
We got there late in the day and the only
thing they had was salmon and mahi mahi.
We bought a two pound filet of mahi mahi for $14. This will make three meals for us.
Our friends
told us about a good place for supper--$8 for a sea bass dinner with rice,
beans, salad, and desert. We ate there
and then went down the street to listen to some good reggae music.
We want to see
these guys again for sure.
We were home
by nine and in bed early.
